The JCMA technology is best suited for Point-To-Multi point applications. These applications may be wired or wireless as the joint constellation is suitable for any transmission media.
Typical wireless networks applications include:

  • Cellular networks – JCMA can be integrated into modern cellular networks such as LTE for significant network improvements in upstream throughput, reducing UE's transmit power and resolving cell boundaries collisions. JCMA also allows for better frequency reuse within and between cells.
  • Sensor networks – remote sensors and video cameras gain a lot of throughput and can reduce their transmission power to enable longer battery life and keeping the transmitted power to a minimum for "greener" environment.
  • Other types of wireless networks such as WiMax and proprietary networks may use JCMA for significantly improved throughput and reduction of end point transmission power.

For wired networks, typical applications include:

  • Enhanced cable modem networks – the JCMA enables concurrent transmission of several end point modems while keeping the cumulative transmitted power of the cable within the standard DOCSYS limit. The result is a significant improvement of upstream throughput without adding more frequencies or altering the network. The central and end modems need to be changed or upgraded with new software.
  • Fast wired buses – JCMA enables fast communication over wired "tree" buses by allowing concurrent transmissions as opposed common Ethernet connections characterized by collisions.


A WiFi base station (BST) which provides improved cover range, higher throughput and smart beam forming. The BST is capable of overcoming nearby external interferers by forming "null" beams in the direction of the interferer.
The technology may be used for other state-of–the-art networks such as WiMax and others.
